The Bolivarian Government, through the vice-presidency of Public Works and Services, led by Jorge Márquez, outlined immediate actions to accelerate the consolidation of the Macarao Productive Corridor.

The priorities were defined by the spokespersons of the Agroproductive Commune For Loyalty and Love to Chávez, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of People's Power for Electric Energy.

The initiative aims to carry out infrastructure works, including road rehabilitation, as well as productive projects to consolidate a development axis in the area.

Community initiatives include the construction of a grandparents' house and a communal house, the comprehensive repair of urban planning, the recovery of sports fields and projects related to drinking water.

As an immediate response, specialized teams were deployed to meet timely water and transport demands, to strengthen the social welfare of the Commune.

The holders of the Water Care portfolios, Carlos Mast Yustiz; Public Works, Juan Ramírez; Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán; Habitat and Housing, Raúl Paredes, together with the presidents of CANTV, Iván Hernández Dala, and of PDVSA Gas, Julio Rojas, reviewed the scope of public management in the context of 1×10 Good Governance.

In this regard, they emphasized the need to redouble efforts, perfect strategies and maintain territorial deployment to ensure greater efficiency in dealing with cases reported through the VenApp and the Popular and Communal Self-Government Chambers.

The meeting also made it possible to evaluate the work carried out in the Caribbean Peoples Corridor, located on the Caracas-La Guaira highway, a successful experience that opens the way to the expansion of new forms of popular organization in the territory.
