The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through an Official Communiqué, reported that, as part of a combined operation between security agencies of the country and the United States in southeastern Bolivar state, organized crime structures operating in the area were dismantled.

During the operation, there were clashes with members of these criminal structures, in which Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, alias “Niño Guerrero ”, leader of a criminal organization, was neutralized.
