With the firm objective of strengthening public security and mitigating risks in the face of rainy periods, the National Pipeline Institute (INCANAL), under the guidelines of the Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation, is deployed carrying out improvement and corrective maintenance work in the Manzanares riverbed, in the state of Sucre.
Through a post on its Instagram account, the Ministry of Transport explained that these works are being carried out in conjunction with the Government of the eastern entity.
The comprehensive action plan covers an important stretch of this emblematic body of water, extending from the Hugo Chávez Bridge to its strategic mouth in the Gulf of Cariaco.
The deployment of technical and heavy machinery focuses on intensive cleaning and removal of plant material, sediment and debris accumulated both in the riverbed and on the slopes of the river.
This preventive maintenance plan has an immediate social impact, directly benefiting more than 4,596 Cumanese families that reside in the sectors adjacent to the basin.
The project is being implemented in strict compliance with sustainable development and infrastructure policies promoted by the National Executive, aimed at safeguarding the tranquility of the Venezuelan people and ensuring safer environmental environments.
