The National Pipeline Institute (INCANAL) received a batch of nine Boyaven brand buoys in the state of Zulia, with the objective of strengthening the maritime signaling system in the navigation channel of Lake Maracaibo. These are 21 model 1.0 buoys of the BOYAVEN trademark in the Los Puertos de Altagracia - Bajo Grande section.

According to information released by the press of the Ministry of People's Power for Transport (MPPT), this initiative is part of the national plans for the optimization and constant maintenance of the country's waterways. This beacon operation, which initially covers 33.21 kilometers, aims to provide greater navigation security to users of this important and strategic lake road in the region, in addition to contributing significantly to the increase in economic activity with the import and export of goods, products and services, for the benefit of the people.

The incorporation of this technology seeks to improve traffic conditions and ensure a safer environment for boats, thus boosting dynamism in productive activities in the aquatic sector. The beacons, manufactured with national talent and cutting-edge technology backed by the Iala (International Association for Maritime Navigation Aids, originally known as the International Association of Lighthouse Authorities), were transferred from their production center in the city of Maracay, Aragua state to the Zulian entity.

With these tasks, the agency consolidates the positioning of 89 buoys in total along the channel.
