In the Morrocoy National Park, located in Falcón state, strategies were established for the development of sustainable tourism, in order to guarantee good service to its visitors.

This day was led by the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, who assured that the park will be open to tourists. “Come and meet him, but with environmental awareness, we are going to register Tourism Service Providers (PST) through a training and awareness-raising process,” he added.

In turn, he reported that they have organized these meetings to exchange experiences and needs of Tourism Service Providers (PST). “This is the first time that we have seen so many public institutions willing to join together for tourism in balance with the enjoyment and the right to recreation and the need to preserve the environment,” he added.

For his part, Governor Víctor Clark indicated that during this meeting, proposals were heard to strengthen the work of preserving and using the National Park. “The PST, marines, fishing boats, park rangers and other institutions involved participated,” he said.

He also stressed that all work teams have a shared responsibility to achieve tourism in harmony with nature and, at the same time, a social economy with healthy tourism and recreational activity for the enjoyment of those who visit it.

It became known that, during the activity, a work table was installed to ensure that each action translates into well-being for the visitor, environmental protection and economic development in this coastal axis.
