National government recovers homes in La Limonera after earthquakes

With regard to approaches for the recovery of areas affected by the seismic event of last June 24, the national government maintains an operational deployment in the La Limonera urban development, located in the Baruta municipality of Miranda state, through the execution of the Venezuela Renace Plan, instructed by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez.

To comply with the guidelines of the governor of the entity, Elio Serrano, and after the technical evaluation phase of the buildings, the crews completed the structural diagnosis to begin the stabilization and reconstruction of the habitable areas that did not register total loss.

The work is concentrated on one of the towers of Terrace 11-03, which houses 40 apartments that were severely damaged but recoverable.

In addition, the representative of the Government of Miranda, engineer Rosmary Rodríguez, explained that the maneuvers are carried out in coordination with the organized community, through the alignment and erection of walls with truss blocks on all levels of the building.

For her part, the architect María del Carmen Lozano specified that the perimeter enclosure of the apartments has been completed on each of the floors and explained that, according to the level of individual damage, partitions were demolished in several buildings for subsequent reconstruction under housing security parameters.

The work on the terrace seeks to restore the living conditions of families living in urban planning in Baruta.

Finally, the spokesperson and neighbor of the sector, Víctor Parra, valued the speed in the attention provided by the national and regional executive after the earthquake, noting that the deployment of infrastructure brigades offers peace of mind to residents waiting for a safe return to their homes.
