National Government strengthens agenda to promote science and technology in Venezuela

The Minister for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, held a meeting with members of the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation, to evaluate the work agenda to strengthen the promotion of the sector in the territory.
During the meeting, as reported by the head of the Science and Technology portfolio, “an assessment was made of the Great Mission Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, we evaluated the strategic importance of Educational Centers for Science Teaching, which serve for the exchange of knowledge and knowledge that will contribute to weaving collaborative networks located in the territory”.
In addition, according to a MINCYT press release, he stressed that the inauguration of the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, by President Nicolás Maduro, reinforces the commitment to building a solid National Science and Technology System.
“The job we have as MINCYT is to build a true scientific policy and that each of the vertices of the Great Mission Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, strengthen research spaces, contribute to the decolonization of forms and processes of production, and progress towards the technological development that we require as a country,” he said.
He said that, in addition, the promoters of the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation are committed to supporting popular consultation projects aligned with the Seven Transformations, highlighting the participation of popular power in the construction of the changes that are being carried out in the country.
“We are convinced that we will build the country with science, technology and together with the people,” he concluded.
