National leader of World Softball Champions: We are going to welcome these guys in style!

During the 85th broadcast of his program Con Maduro+, he congratulated the feat of the national softball team that participated in the recent world cup held in the United States, Mexico and Canada, where Venezuela qualified against the representation of New Zealand 3x0 in the final of the highest tournament in the specialty.

“Venezuela is champion of the Softball World Cup. We are going to welcome these boys in style. Venezuela shone in Canada!” , said the Head of State, during the Digital Zone segment where he was consulted about this feat of national sports.

This Sunday, the president congratulated the Venezuelan national team that won the softball world title for the first time in the final match of the Super Round, played at the Prime Ministers' Park Field stadium in Canada.

“Congratulations! I express with great joy my absolute pride in each of the high-level players who today, in the final, demonstrated their amazing ability. Gold Generation! Champions for the first time! , wrote the Bolivarian president on his Telegram channel.

Venezuela was enshrined in the 2025 Softball World Cup, of the World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC), which was held on Canadian soil, from July 8 to 13.
