The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, exalted this Monday the scope of the Strategic Cooperation Treaty signed with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, after an intense day of work between the two delegations in Moscow.
“It's a new beginning. Russia and Venezuela have signed a treaty of the highest level of strategic cooperation between the two countries. The first treaty of the highest strategic level and one that crowns 24 years of construction,” said the Head of State in the 79th broadcast of his program Con Maduro+.
He stressed that the agreement covers all areas and fields of joint work. “Everything opens, everything, everything, everything opens up. Treaty of the highest level, never seen before in the Russia-Venezuela relationship. So I can say that this day of bilateral meetings on May 7 marks a new beginning of greater significance, of greater strategic height between Russia and Venezuela, between President Vladimir Putin and President Nicolás Maduro Moros,” he emphasized.
