National President: The FANB is a uniformed and armed people

“Our Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) is a uniformed and armed people.” This was stated by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, this Friday afternoon, May 3, from El Pao in the state of Cojedes, when he reviewed the field period and campaign maneuvers “The Essequibo is Ours”.

He told the soldiers present at the exercise “you have to honor that uniform, to those weapons that are the uniforms and weapons of the People, because you are the People (...) If there is one thing that makes our FANB different from other countries, it is that it is an eminently popular armed force. You are the ordinary cadets of the People and as such you should be proud to receive this comprehensive education in academies and training camps to forge yourself as a great generation: the generation of the future. You are the hope of the FANB!”

In that vein, he stressed that “we have to make Venezuela invulnerable. May the foreign and traitor boot of imperialism never dare to drown the soil of the Venezuelan Homeland and if they dare, break its teeth and face them with honor, courage and capacity,” said the also Commander in Chief of the FANB.
