This Monday in his Con Maduro+ program, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured his commitment to the fight against drug trafficking on the border with Colombia.

“The Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the police forces, together with the entire Bolivarian National Militia, are permanently deployed on all borders on the Venezuelan side (...) surveillance is carried out around the clock and every day,” he said.

The head of state added that the country ratifies its fight in the fight against “criminal groups, against armed terrorists in Colombia, the TANCOL and against those who intend to do harm.”

In this regard, he reported that a clandestine runway was neutralized in the Apure state. “It's one of the ships and leads that we are constantly pursuing for drug trafficking, which comes to us permanently from Colombia,” he said.
