National Risk Management System controls fire in Henry Pittier Park

Officials from the National Risk Management System controlled the fire in the Henri Pittier National Park, in the Las Cocuizas sector of the state of Aragua, according to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Últimas Noticias (ÚN)

According to the publication, the information was provided by the Deputy Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, Almte. Juan Carlos Oti Paituvi, who pointed out that: “We are in the state of Aragua following instructions from the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Cap. Diosdado Cabello, controlling and suppressing this fire with our forest firefighters.”

In addition, he highlighted the popular, military and police fusion to mitigate the fire, adding that 23 firefighters and firefighters, as well as park rangers, entered through the head of the fire to control the situation by applying the necessary strategies and methodologies.
