National Speed Boating Opening Championship takes place in waters of the state of Carabobo

Until Sunday, March 9th, the National Speed Boating Opening Championship will be held from the spaces of the Guataparo Reservoir, in Carabobo.
The event has the participation of more than 100 athletes from the country, who will see action in the cadet, youth and senior categories, from the states of Sucre, Cojedes, Carabobo, Miranda, Caracas, Guárico, Lara, Yaracuy, Anzoátegui Táchira and Zulia.
As part of the competition, a 10-kilometer national check will be carried out, with the objective of evaluating the athletes of the Venezuelan national team, according to a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports.
In this regard, the Secretary General of the Venezuelan Canoeing Federation (FVC), Ana Rivero, commented that “the event will make it possible to start the national calendar, focusing on national and international events where Venezuelan boating will be present.”
