National Surgical Plan began the day at the Maternal and Child Center in Caricuao

As part of the promotion of the National Surgical Plan, a special day of interventions began this Monday at the Pastor Oropeza Maternal and Child Hospital in Caricuao, with a focus focused on gynecological care.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, during the first day, 35 women benefited, on a schedule that plans to perform around 180 procedures throughout the week.

Simultaneously, at the Dr. Francisco A. Rísquez Hospital, surgical operations are also being carried out for ophthalmology and general surgery of low and medium complexity, efforts coordinated by the Department of Health of Caracas.
