National Surgical Plan benefited 16 patients with gynecological interventions in Monagas

A new day of the National Surgical Plan 2025 was held in the state of Monagas, according to information issued by the Government

The conference was aimed at the area of Gynecology and was held at the Dr. Tulio López Ramírez Type I Hospital for the benefit of 16 patients, who underwent different medical care procedures.

The Single Health Authority of Monagas State, Yerika Alzolay, explained that of the 16 cases treated directly, 15 correspond to sterilizations, contributing to family planning and the reproductive health of patients.

“In addition, during this special follow-up day, an exeresis of the Bartholin Gland was performed in one case, a procedure that seeks to alleviate discomfort and prevent complications,” said Alzolay.
