The Vinotinto U-17 will play its third pre-World Cup tournament with a view to the World Cup in Qatar 2025, to be held in November, which will be held on the island of Margarita, in Nueva Esparta.

Technical director Oswaldo Vizcarrondo and his coaching staff seek to refine the last details and continue to evaluate young Venezuelan talent against various international teams.

The “UEFA CONMEBOL Development Tournament” will be the stage for this important preparation. The championship will be held at the National High Performance Center (CNAR) in Margarita, which will allow the “guys” to play at home and adapt to the competitive environment.

The schedule of the matches for the national team is as follows:

Tuesday, June 24: Debut against Paraguay.

Thursday, June 26: Clash against Chile.

Saturday, June 28: Closing of the tournament against Turkey.

This tournament will allow them to test different tactical schemes and rotate players, but also to consolidate group cohesion and evaluate the individual performance of each player under pressure.
