Navegantes del Magallanes has a new sports manager

Navegantes del Magallanes of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) announced Federico Rojas Zabolotnyj as its new Sports Manager.

Rojas is a social communicator by profession and always linked to sports, he has an International Master's Degree in Sports Management (2013) and since 2024 he has been working in the Baseball Operations Department of the Tampa Bay Rays, specifically as a Technology Operator.

“It's a beautiful challenge, one of great magnitude and demanding. We understand the responsibility and the greatness that it entails, which is why I face it with great pride,” said Federico Rojas, an LVBP press review.

He also asserted that they have to pave the way now, and although it is something that goes step by step and stage by stage, “we are going to do our best” because this institution has to fight at the top.

“We want to create a great connection between the team, the management and the fans,” he added.

The native of Puerto Cabello sent a message to the shipping fans in which he emphasized that they will work hard to make the best possible team, that can transcend and think about achieving the championship.

With this announcement, Luis Blasini's second stage within the Magellan ranks comes to an end. In total, there were six finals played and three championships won (2012-2013, 2013-2014 and 2021-2022).
