Nicaraguan health authorities start campaign against yellow fever

The Nicaraguan Minister of Health began a national vaccination campaign against yellow fever, in which he plans to apply some 200,000 doses throughout the country.
“The National Yellow Fever Vaccination Campaign begins, from the Trinidad Guevara Polyclinic. The vaccines will be applied in each municipality according to a schedule that will be announced soon by the health authorities,” the Parliamentary Channel of Nicaragua reported on the social network X. According to this information, the local government plans to apply 200,000 doses.
In addition, workers at border crossing points, tourist sites, international heavy transport drivers, health workers, forest rangers from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, members of the Nicaraguan Army, the National Police and the Ministry of the Interior will be vaccinated.
