NUEVA ESPARTA - MARCANO/Head of State: We must organize ourselves in a perfect way with strength and discipline

This Friday, June 21, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that the revolutionary forces must prepare well and joyfully for next July 28, “with organization, with very high morale and strength.”

“You have to sharpen your spurs,” he said.

He stressed that “we must organize ourselves in a perfect way, combining emotion and passion with discipline and organization”.

The head of state made this statement in Juan Griego, in the Marcano municipality, in the state of Nueva Esparta, where the people confirmed their support for his presidential re-election.

He also stated that he took a beautiful oath, “in Maturín, remembering our Commander Hugo Chávez, when I said goodbye to him, on February 22, 2013, it was the last time I saw him alive. I didn't know it was going to be the last time.”

“He greeted me with his left hand, and he said: 'Nicolás go and fulfill your mission, a mission he gave me that day and is going on with strength, 'were the last words he said to me,” he said.

Faced with those words of Commander Chávez, President Maduro recalled that he responded: “Commander, I am sworn in and before you I will fulfill my oath of absolute loyalty.”

“I have put my being and my life to fulfill that oath,” he stressed.
