The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and candidate of the Homeland, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated this Friday that he is part of the People and will always be with ordinary Venezuelans, guaranteeing social welfare.

“We are the same people except that I am the president, but I am the president of the people, the workers' president, the current president, the president of the neighborhoods, of the peasants, of the fishermen, of the women,” said the President from the Marcano municipality of the state of Nueva Esparta.

During a massive rally in support of the Bolivarian Revolution, on the way to the presidential elections on July 28, Maduro pointed out that two totally adverse positions are faced in this contest, one in favor of the People and the other surrendered to imperial interests.

“Do you want a president without leadership or a president with strong leadership? Do you want a president whose legs shake and gives up the gringos or do you want a strong president who defends Venezuela? Do you want a puppet president of the oligarchy and the last names or do you want a courageous patriotic president of the people?” , asked the Dignitary, contrasting the representation of the extreme right with the revolutionary process.
