OPEC Secretary praised the work of PDVSA workers

The Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Haitham Al Ghais, praised the efforts made by the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in its commitment to guarantee, together with the state oil company Petrleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), the tranquility of the international crude oil market.
In this regard, he praised the workers of PDVSA for their daily efforts, during a meeting he held in Caracas, together with the Executive Vice President of the Republic and also Minister of People's Power for Petroleum, Delcy Rodríguez.
In a video posted by Rodríguez, on his Instagram account, Haitham Al Ghais said that during his first visit to PDVSA, together with the workers and the Venezuelan vice-president, he takes pride in the work of the staff, whom he described as guardians.
“For you, it should be very proud to work in this sector, in this company, in this country. You are the guardians, with this certainty you have to work harder for your country, for the world and for our organization. I congratulate each and every one of you!” , highlighted.
For his part, in the aforementioned account, Rodríguez highlighted that “extraordinary meeting of the workers of our oil industry with the Secretary General of OPEC. Along with those who constitute the heart of the Venezuelan energy sector, we reiterate Venezuela's willingness to continue strengthening the union of producer countries and the historic organization.”
“We thank the Secretary for his words of support to our workers in highlighting their important work as a vital part of the 70 million people dedicated to keeping the world moving,” he said.
He said that “Venezuela is proud of its history and experience in energy matters and expects to continue contributing to the sector, in the face of changes in the global matrix, with its great resources and its enormous human capital.”
