Operation Caracas Smile benefited more than 10,000 families in La Vega

More than 10,000 families in La Vega were served by Operation Caracas Smile.

The mayor, Carmen Meléndez, assured that this deployment has “continued throughout this week serving the different communal organizations of the parish.”

Specifically, care was provided with mobile clinics, counseling, registration of entrepreneurs, recreation, and the special transformation of the dot and circle.

Tree pruning, brocade painting, school demarcation, optimization of electricity supply, and other benefits to the community were also carried out.

The mayor added that “we have served a total of 258 communes and communal circuits, of the 299 that we have in Caracas; which means the 86.29% addressed (...) To date, we have served 1,926,832 people.”
