Operation Caracas Smile reaches the goal of 300 communes served in the capital

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that Operation Caracas Smile has managed to reach the attention of 293 communes and communal circuits in the city, benefiting more than two million hundred thousand people with the governance methodology implemented almost a year ago. The municipal authority stressed that the deployment is nearing its final phase, after confirming that there are only seven community organizations left to visit in the coming days to complete the goal established in the comprehensive care plan.

During an approach carried out in the parish of La Pastora, specifically on the main street of Lídice, the Caravan of Solutions held its 108th day with a balance of more than 8,000 services to citizens. The activity included deployments in various health specialties, as well as the provision of registration, documentation and veterinary care services, reaching more than 300 pets in the sector during the two consecutive days of work.

In this deployment, the communes Cacica Urquía, Socialista Altos de Lídice, Fuerza Obrera de Lídice, The Heroic Resistance of Lídice and the Pueblo Rebelde de Lídice communal circuit were attended to, benefiting a population of 18,055 inhabitants.

Through her digital platforms, the mayor shared evidence of the services provided and highlighted the positive impact that these days have had on the communities visited, reaffirming her commitment to direct management in each territory addressed.

The care cycle will be completed this Monday, June 8 and Tuesday, June 9, with a visit to the El Valle parish, an activity with which municipal management will reach all 300 existing community organizations in the capital. With this closure of activities, Operation Caracas Smile concludes its schedule of approaches designed to strengthen the link between State institutions and the Caracas population through efficient and centralized solutions.
