Operation Caracas Smile serves 17,000 inhabitants of El Junquito (+Caravan of Solutions)

Through a comprehensive deployment at kilometer 4, La Fortuna sector, the Mayor's Office of Caracas strengthened social care in the parish of El Junquito with the arrival of the 63rd Caravan of Solutions, said Chief Admiral Carmen Meléndez.
The day was designed to have a positive impact on almost 17,000 inhabitants, organized in 22 communal councils in the area. During the operation, citizens accessed a wide range of services that included: comprehensive medical care, pharmacy and delivery of technical aids, legal advice, barbershop, hairdressing and specialized veterinary approach.
The success of the activity included the active participation of the Lancero Communes of Guaicaipura and The Dreams of the Eternal Commander, as well as the Independence of My Homeland Circuit.
Meléndez offered a significant assessment of the scope of this social policy in the capital, highlighting the territorial efficiency of the program:
“So far, we have deployed 63 Solutions Caravans and served 63.58% of the community councils in Caracas, for more than 1 million 319 thousand embroidered people,” he said.
The day reaffirms the commitment of local management to the peripheral areas of the city. At the close of her report, the mayor was forceful about the road map to follow: “The work continues without pause.”
