Ophthalmic care day benefited more than 1 thousand patients in Bolívar

A total of 1,301 ophthalmological patients in the state of Bolívar benefited from a day of care carried out at the ASIC Unidad Barrio Adentro, according to the Venezuelan Social Security Institute (IVSS).
Through a message published on its Telegram channel, the IVSS detailed that the conference took place between May 1 and 10, identifying 828 cases of cataracts and 80 of pterygium that will soon be operated on.
In addition, 122 people treated did not require surgery, one case of strabismus will be treated and 13 capsulotomies were performed.
