The opposition deputy, José Brito, described this Tuesday as “vomitive” the statement published this Monday, March 17 by the leaders of the extreme right, María Corina Machado and Edmundo González, regarding the actions of the United States against Venezuelan migrants.
“The statement is vomitive, it is despicable, it denotes a very great hatred for Venezuelans,” he said during his interview on the program Here and Now on La Iguana TV.
In the statement in question, Machado and González justify the actions of the United States and El Salvador against their compatriots and maintain the same narrative that they belong to the Aragua Train.
As for the actions of the United States, he condemned that they attack Venezuelan migrants, promoting the so-called “Foreign Enemies Act”, which seeks to criminalize compatriots on North American soil.
“This is a law that they used since the time of the Second World War, that they had never taken as such, so that you can see the level of demonization, of criminalization they use against Venezuelan displaced persons,” he stressed.
