With soup, joy and a high revolutionary spirit, the militancy of the PSUV was deployed in the different communities of the state of Zulia to select who will be the candidates for the elections on May 25.

Amaris Cansino, a member of the New Jerusalem commune of Maracaibo, assured that during this day the bases of Popular Power will nominate those people who have been on the side of the people and know their needs.

“We thank the president (Nicolás Maduro) for giving us this opportunity so that the rank and file can choose the people we want to represent us, that's why we are fighting,” he said in statements offered to Venezolana de Televisión.

In the same way, Cris Dabartello emphasized the connection that the postulates have with grassroots militancy and the hopes that they continue to be the voice of the people in the search for solutions to problems in the community.

“Once again, the people are deciding who will represent them. Here, no one has imposed a line on us, it is the people who choose their representation,” he stressed.
