Ottaynis Febres achieves new national record in album release

During a check by the Venezuelan Athletics Federation (FVA), carried out in Caracas, the Monaguense athlete Ottainys Febres achieved a new national record in the U-20 discus throwing category, reaching 52 meters, which exceed the 51.43 that she herself had set last year in an international competition in Peru.

This new record of the athlete is achieved for the next international competitions. “Officially, the season has started: New U-20 national record, 52.00 meters. A lot to learn and much more to work for,” Febres wrote on her social networks, who thanked God and those who have supported her.

“I was afraid, maybe for a moment I'll forget that God never breaks his promises,” said the athlete who has just won a gold medal and two silver medals at the last Eastern 2024 Games.
