Pablo Sandoval to be inducted into the San Francisco Giants Hall of Fame (+MLB)

Venezuelan
Pablo Sandoval will be immortalized in the San Francisco Giants Hall of Fame of
the Major League Baseball National League.
The news was announced by the Venezuelan during his participation in the podcast “Beyond the
Marker” in which he explained that the ceremony will take place on August 8.
The
“Kung Fu Panda” will be brought to the temple of the immortals along with
other icons from the era of the three World Series (Buster Posey, Brandon
Crawford, Brandon Belt and Joe Panik).
The
Venezuelan signed with the giants in 2002 and made his Grand Tent debut in 2008,
quickly becoming a central figure in the team thanks to his powerful batting and versatile defense at third base.
In his 11
seasons with the Bahia franchise, Sandoval won three world series in
2010, 2012 and 2014, winning the Most Valuable Player award in the 2012 World
Series.
In 1,149
games and 3,959 at-bats, he recorded a batting average of .285, with 1,130
uncatchables, 235 doubles, 20 triples, 135 home runs, 569 RBIs, 484 runs scored and an OPS of .794.
