Last Tuesday, the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas urged the Peace Council to implement the announced principles, proposed by the United States (US) in the security council of the United Nations (UN), to achieve peace in Gaza.
Hamas urged that they stop the violations of the Israeli regime against the Palestinian population and by facilitating the entry of the Independent National Committee into the nation to begin its work.
“We urge the Council to take serious and effective measures to stop the violations of the occupation; the war continues, and the killing and hunger have not stopped,” said resistance spokesman Hazem Qassem.
The Palestinian resistance demanded the “lifting of the siege” against the coastal city of Gaza, the “opening of border crossings” and an end to Zionist aggressions against travelers.
The movement also warned of the possibilities that the Israeli occupying forces will use the peace council as a pretext to “continue the war in Gaza and prevent the reconstruction” of the city.
