The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, through a satellite pass, reinaugurated a work in homage to the revolutionary leader Aristobulo Iztáriz, a square in the San José parish that commemorates the teacher of teachers.
The activity took place during the inauguration of the Juana La Avanzadora Mission Base, a space for Popular Power in the community of Sarría, El Recreo parish, in Caracas.
The reinauguration was led by the ministers of Popular Power for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro, and of Public Works, Juan José Ramírez, and Professor Dinora de Iztáriz, the wife of teacher Aristobulo Iztáriz.
In this regard, Dinora de Iztáriz said that “this beautiful structure of two thousand square meters of construction has everything that children, adolescents, young people, even the elderly need to live in this square”.
“Aristobulo, from heaven, must be happy to be in his parish and that this square is in the parish of San José. Thank you very much, President,” he said.
The rehabilitation of this square is due to the acts of vandalism materialized by Venezuelan fascism; but it is already active at the service of the community.
The church of San José Parish and the surrounding schools were also restored.
These recreational facilities have ping-pong tables, spaces for skateboarders, playgrounds for children and youth, where fascism was successfully defeated and crushed.
