This weekend, four cardiological patients from Maturin, Monagas state, received pacemakers implanted free of charge.
This was reported by the Minister of Health, Magaly Gutierrez, who stressed that these people were treated thanks to the reports they made through the 1x10 Good Governance tool.
The surgical procedure was performed at the “Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar” University Hospital, in the aforementioned location in the east of the country.
“It should be noted that this benefit is completely free thanks to the social policies of President Nicolás Maduro, who, despite the blockade, continues to benefit all patients who need this and any other surgical procedure, in order to give the Venezuelan people a better quality of life,” said the owner of the Salus portfolio through her X account.
