PDVSA reported that crude oil and derivatives export operations are proceeding normally

The Executive Vice President of the Republic and Minister of the People's Power of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, confirmed that operations for the export of Venezuelan crude oil and derivatives are maintained, despite the attempted illegal and illegitimate blockade by the United States (USA), through secure schemes and full guarantees.

Through a message published on his Telegram channel, which was accompanied by a statement issued by the state oil company PDVSA, Rodríguez emphasized that Venezuela will respect its rights in terms of free trade and navigability, in accordance with international law, development and the exercise of its sovereignty.

Below is the full text of the Communiqué:

Petrleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA), in its capacity as a state company responsible for the comprehensive management of the oil industry in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, informs the country and the international community that operations for the export of crude oil and derivatives are proceeding normally.

The oil tankers linked to PDVSA's operations continue to sail with full security, technical support and operational guarantees, in legitimate exercise of the rights to free navigation and free trade, widely recognized and protected by international law.

For years, the Venezuelan oil industry has been subject to Unilateral Coercive Measures, sabotage, cyberattacks and, more recently, acts of international piracy for the theft of oil, designed to affect its operation and violate the economic rights of the Nation. None of these aggressions has succeeded in undermining the operational capacity or determination of the PDVSA workforce, which enjoys the unitary and full support of the Venezuelan people.

PDVSA ratifies its commitment to the defense of the energy sovereignty of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the fulfillment of its legitimate commercial commitments and the protection of its maritime operations, always acting in accordance with the Constitution, international maritime laws and the principles of the Charter of the United Nations Organization.

Petrleos de Venezuela, S.A. will continue to advance, together with the Venezuelan people, on the path of recovery, strengthening and unrestricted defense of the national oil industry, convinced that dignity, unity and peace are fundamental pillars for the development and prosperity of the Homeland.
