During the ceremony commemorating the 97th anniversary of the birth of Fabricio Ojeda, held in Caracas, the Head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, highlighted the ongoing struggle for sovereignty and national unity in the face of constant external attacks.
Fernández reflected on the mixed feelings that engulf the people in the face of the United States bombing against Venezuela and emphasized that sadness must be transformed into a fighting force.
“Today we have feelings of sadness, a lot of pain, but what we are not going to leave is the path of deep loyalty to the Bolivarian Revolution,” he said.
He also reaffirmed his loyalty to President Nicolás Maduro, in his most difficult moments.
“The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, and the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, as examples of dignity in the face of those who have historically conspired from Washington,” he said.
Fernández was emphatic in denouncing that the recent releases of detainees are part of a sovereign agenda of the Venezuelan Government and not the result of pressure from NGOs or opposition sectors.
The Head of Government of the District called on revolutionaries to maintain permanent mobilization in neighborhoods and fields, ensuring that the legacy of Fabricio Ojeda continues to guide participatory and pro-otagonic democracy.
