The Missions and Great Missions System provided more than 36,000 comprehensive services in the state of Monagas, during the third quarter of the year, as part of the approaches of the Love in Action Plan promoted together with the entity's Government.
The sessions offered free medical care in specialties such as General Medicine, Pediatrics and Dentistry, immunization, blood pressure measurement, blood glucose screening and anthropometric measurements. All this accompanied by the immediate delivery of medications and vitamin supplements.
In addition, nutritional evaluation was carried out, including the delivery of dietary supplements and orientation sessions on healthy habits, an effort that has benefited children and older adults in the state's communities.
The plan also included training activities such as talks and workshops on family life, prevention of gender-based violence, responsible use of social networks, legal guidance and the rights of children and adolescents.
In this regard, the president of the Mission System Foundation in the entity, Yenibel Lugo, stressed that the central objective is to bring concrete solutions to every corner of the territory.
“These days are not isolated events, but part of a sustained social protection strategy. Our governor, Ernesto Luna, has always reaffirmed his commitment to continue working for the welfare of the people through permanent deployment. Articulation with organized Popular Power, missions and the different entities of the national and regional government is key to providing timely answers and bringing hope to those who need it most,” he said.
