President Delcy Rodríguez highlighted this Thursday the fundamental role of private companies in promoting motor construction and the rehabilitation of more than 20,000 homes after the seismic event, during her participation in the 82nd Annual Meeting of FEDECÁMARAS.
“I want to highlight that today the houses that are being built are being built by the private sector, you know that, and they are going to have a great boost in the construction engine with all the housing that we are building and that will continue to be built,” said the president when referring to the reactivation of the housing sector.
“Not only is there a need for housing for the victims of the earthquake, but there is also a housing debt for the Venezuelan people, and there the private sector plays a fundamental factor,” Rodríguez said of the magnitude of the projects promoted in the country.
“The first thing we called Minister (Francisco) Garcés and the Minister of Housing when the earthquake went to the private sector of the Chamber of Construction. It was the first: we are going to rebuild and rehabilitate. They are rehabilitating more than 20,000 homes,” emphasized the senior official when evaluating the joint response to the contingency.
“Wherever we came from, we see the development and growth of the country's productive engines,” the president concluded, reaffirming economic progress through coordination between the State and the national productive sectors.
