President Delcy Rodríguez recognizes the support of the private sector after the double earthquake in Venezuela

President Delcy Rodríguez thanked the Venezuelan business sector for the support provided by the Venezuelan business sector during the care and rescue efforts following the double seismic event of last June 24, as part of the inauguration of the 82nd Annual Assembly of FEDECÁMARAS.

“The first thing I want to do is thank the private sector for its support in the first few hours of the earthquake that hit Venezuela on June 24 of this year,” said the dignitary at the beginning of her speech to the productive unions.

“On June 25, I spoke to the president of FEDECÁMARAS and I told him: I urgently need machinery so that we can support the rescue efforts of Venezuelans who survived this double earthquake,” Rodríguez explained about the emergency coordination activated immediately.

“In conversations with the president of CONINDUSTRIAS, Tito López, and in general with the country's businessmen and women, there was not a single Venezuelan or a Venezuelan woman who stayed quiet either in their bed or in their house; they all came to solidarity aid to reach out to those who needed it,” he said of the joint mobilization in the face of the contingency.

“There, the private sector was also in the front row. Thank you, I come to thank you,” concluded the Head of State, evaluating the immediate response to the natural emergency.
