The Venezuela Renace Plan delivered 100 fully rehabilitated apartments in the La Libertad housing estate, 23 de Enero parish, as part of the response to families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

The mayor of the Bolivarian Libertador municipality of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that the works included construction work, painting, waterproofing, wall remodeling and gas installations, and highlighted the recovery of a preschool, a sports court and a children's playground.

Through a contact with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Meléndez said that the plan is being deployed in Caracas together with the different levels of the National Government to rehabilitate housing in popular sectors, such as January 23, where they recently delivered 30 repaired houses.

“Where the Venezuela Renace plan comes in is not just the building, it's the point and circle, it's comprehensive care for the whole family and that has been very important with this plan because everyone is involved,” Meléndez said.
