Plan Venezuela Renace delivers 100 refurbished apartments in the parish of 23 de Enero

The mayor of the Bolivarian Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, led the delivery of 100 completely rehabilitated apartments in the La Libertad residential area, located in the 23 de Enero parish in Caracas. The activity was carried out to provide an immediate response to families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24 through the deployment of the Venezuela Renace Plan brigades.

Through Venezolana de Televisión, the municipal president detailed the scope of the approach, stating that the works carried out included construction, painting, waterproofing, wall remodeling and adaptation of gas installations. The official also emphasized the complementary recovery of the common areas of the sector, including the rehabilitation of a preschool, a sports court and a children's playground.

In the same way, Meléndez explained that the Venezuela Renace Plan maintains an active presence in the various parishes of the capital together with the bodies of the national government to recover housing both in urban buildings and in popular sectors. In this context, the mayor pointed out that 30 repaired houses were recently delivered in this same community to ensure priority attention for the population.

The municipal president valued community receptivity and articulated work, stating: “The youth are happy, because where the Venezuela Renace Plan arrives it's not just the building, it's the point and circle, it's comprehensive care for the whole family and that has been very important with this plan because everyone intervenes.”
