PNB captured a subject carrying 60 high-caliber ammunition

Members of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) managed to capture a subject carrying 60 high-caliber ammunition, according to the website of the newspaper Úlmas Noticias.


The detainee was identified as: José Javier Bernal Silva and was arrested on the La Salesiana highway, Alto Barinas parish, Barinas municipality, reported Favio Rolón, head of the Police Coordination Center installed in the aforementioned sector of the capital.


Officials explained that Bernal Silva was carrying 60 ammunition, two grenades (one stun and the other with smoke APG-111 brand Cavim), a radio transmitter, a vest lining and a police uniform, referring to the extinct Special Action Forces (FAES), said Commissioner Rolón.

For this reason, he was brought to the order of the 4th Court of Control of Barinas, where the representative of the Public Prosecutor's Office charged him with the crimes of illegal arms trafficking and misuse of uniforms.
