PNB captured fake police with narcotic substances (+ Petare)

Officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), during patrolling work, managed to capture a subject who posed as a police officer and also possessed narcotic substances.

According to information issued by the Ministry of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, the incident occurred during intelligent patrolling when officials apprehended in flagrante delicto a citizen in the La Alcabala sector of Petare parish, “for the alleged crimes of usurpation of functions, possession and distribution of narcotic and psychotropic substances”.

During the procedure, an alleged “crispy” wrapper weighing 57.70 grams, a digital scale, a cell phone, a red Haojin motorcycle, a black bag and a uniform of the Caracas Municipal Police were seized, which was used by the subject to attempt to circumvent the various checkpoints deployed in the Metropolitan Area of Caracas.
