PNB seized more than 100 kilos of transgenic marijuana in Apure

A total of 104.60 kilograms of genetically modified marijuana were seized during a procedure carried out by members of the Anti-Drug Division of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB) on the Mantecal national highway, Elorza parish, Romulo Gallegos municipality in Apure state.

For this reason, according to a press release from the Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace, the drugs were distributed in 100 panel-type wrappers, coated with brown synthetic material, containing plant remains corresponding to the illegal substance. In addition, a motorcycle and telephone equipment used as part of the logistics for the mobilization of drugs were retained at the scene of the events.

For this fact, three citizens were arrested and placed under the command of the Public Prosecutor's Office.

According to this text, this severe blow to criminal networks materialized thanks to research and monitoring efforts carried out in the area, which made it possible to intercept those involved.
