In an exercise of citizen participation and institutional
strengthening, authorities from the Cristóbal Rojas municipality, in
the state of Miranda, in coordination with the National Assembly,
carried out the National Public Consultation of the Amnesty Bill for Democratic Coexistence in Charallave.
The mayor of the municipality Cristóbal Rojas, Yuhismar Hernández, emphasized the binding nature of this process for the political bases. “This project involves all of us who accompanied the Bolivarian revolution; our participation is important to ensure compliance with the law,” said the first local authority.
For his part, the deputy to the National Assembly, Genkerve Tovar, emphasized the value of street social parliamentarism. “For us it is a constitutional duty to consult the people, listen to their opinions and debate a law that was designed for the benefit of all citizens,” said the parliamentarian.
The day ended by reaffirming that, through the union between Public Power and Popular Power, a path of understanding continues to be built with actions that ensure the preservation of democratic values and lay the foundations for the harmonious development of future generations.
