Portuguesa: 25 hemodialysis machines arrived at the entity

A total of 25 hemodialysis machines arrived in Portugal to increase the number of units in the state providing dialysis treatment in the state to four.

Carlos Majano, the entity's sole health authority, explained that 14 machines are incorporated into the La Coromotana Hemodialysis Unit in Guanare; nine to the Seneca Hemodialysis Center in Acarigua, and two to the Acarigua-Araure hospital , which has currently with 12 operating machines.

In this regard, he indicated that the equipment will guarantee “safer, more efficient treatments with the quality standards required by our renal patients”, while specifying that it will also allow us to optimize care cycles and significantly reduce waiting times.

Governor Primitivo Cedeño, 10 more hemodialysis machines have yet to arrive in Portuguesa, which will be incorporated into the nephrology service of the Guanare hospital , an area that is expected to be addressed with the plan for the recovery, expansion and construction of health infrastructure.
