The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, during a rally of Chavista forces in the Portuguese state, called on young people to participate in the loving accompaniment of older adults to the electoral centers, especially those who are alone or have mobility problems.

“Older adults are important this July 28 because they are a sector that votes consciously and knows what they experienced here in the Fourth Republic, to which no one is going to tell stories about how things were here in the Fourth Republic, which has the experience, the wisdom, so they need loving support, especially grandmothers and grandparents who were left alone as a result of the departure of their families pushed by the right-wing campaign to promote the country's migration,” he said.
