PORTUGUESE - GUANARE/Cabello: Conscious people will choose Nicolás Maduro to govern a leader

This Wednesday, July 17, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that the Conscious People will elect the candidate of the Fatherland, Nicolás Maduro, on July 28, because they want to continue under the Government of a true leader.

“Venezuela does not want a puppet President (...) but rather a leader, so we are going to elect Nicolás,” he urged from the Guanare municipality, in the Portuguese state, on the occasion of a mobilization of the communities to support the re-election of Nicolás Maduro, where he maintained that the People will avoid having a President subordinate to North American imperialism.

In that sense, he recalled that when in Venezuela “things were very tough”, the pandemic arrived: Where were the patarucos? Calling for sanctions, blockades, destroying the Homeland.”

He stated that the extremist opposition “didn't care about the lives of children, women, the elderly.

“They (opponents) can deny that as many times as they want, but all of them were vaccinated, not once, not twice, but up to four and five times, thanks to the vaccines that Nicolás Maduro brought to Venezuela,” he added.

Faced with this scenario, he stressed that the extreme right is an expert in harm and deception, since they are responsible for illegal sanctions and the economic blockade against the country, but he blames the Bolivarian Government.

As an example of this strategy of harm, he explained that at the time the right wing manipulated information that in Venezuela there would be health chaos due to the COVID-19 pandemic, “like a self-fulfilling prophecy, since they were asking for sanctions and blockades, vaccines could not enter the country, and consequently there would be disaster.”
