This Saturday, July 13, the country's candidate, Nicolás Maduro, welcomed the support of the opposition leader Carlos Prosperi, who declared himself independent and announced his support for the candidacy of the Bolivarian Revolution.

“Prosperi, I don't know you, if I've seen that Ramos Allup's mamplet stalled your growth, because they're always the same: Ramos Allup, Capriles, Julio Borges, Los Machados, Leopold or López, Antonio Ledezma,” he emphasized.

He argued that the opposition sector does not allow youth to emerge, “Prosperi I have heard your criticisms, but I tell you, here in this project: We all fit, welcome Carlos Prosperi to this great force of change and transformation”.

He commented that Prosperi “strongly criticized the extremist right, denouncing the corruption of Guaidó and all those people, and the plans of violence and guarimba.”

He also noted that the opposition leader “said that as of today he declares himself independent and announced his support for the candidacy of President Nicolás Maduro, who is the only one who can guarantee peace and the full recovery of the economy.”

This was what he said in the municipality of Guanare, in the Portuguese state, during his meeting with the People, who expressed their full support for the presidential re-election, on July 28.

He also told the political teams of the Bolivarian Revolution of Guanare the importance of convincing to win, motivating to succeed and organizing to vote.
