The Preliminary Committee of the National Assembly published the official list of 127 nominated citizens who met the requirements to join the Judicial Nominations Committee, a body responsible for evaluating the credentials of aspiring magistrates of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ).

According to the schedule, the parliamentary body will begin the process of reviewing and filtering the documentation to then convene face-to-face interviews.

It should be remembered that, once the selection and presentation phase of the 12 citizens to the Plenary of the National Assembly has been completed, they will be sworn in together with the 11 deputies of the commission as members of the Judicial Nominations Committee.

The Preliminary Committee is chaired by the deputy Giuseppe Alessandrello, while the vice-presidency is held by the deputy Pablo Pérez. Both, together with the other members of the parliamentary body, have been working and complying with regulatory deadlines to achieve the objectives of the law.
