Preparatory meeting for the ALBA-TCP Summit addresses keys to development

Regarding the next Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance
for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement
(ALBA-TCP), a preparatory meeting of the Venezuelan
Government was held this Friday, in Caracas, between representatives of the substantive areas of the regional block's Strategic Agenda 2030.
The activity was chaired by the Minister of
Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil Pinto, who received at the
Yellow House “Antonio José de Sucre” the heads of the ministries for Productive
Agriculture and Lands, Julio León; Finance, Anabel Pereira; Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo; Transport
, Ramón Velásquez; Science and
Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, and Foreign Trade, Coromoto Godoy, and the executive
secretary of the unionist mechanism, Jorge Arreaza, in order to
“review the sectoral plans related to the Bolivarian Alliance”.
Through his Telegram channel, Foreign Minister Gil explained
that “this meeting was held within the framework of the guidelines established
during the (last) presidential summit held in Caracas.”
He explained that during the meeting, “key issues
such as commercial exchange, air and maritime transport, as well as science and technology
projects in the field of artificial intelligence” were addressed.
