The president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Luis Arce, urged citizens to go to the polls on Sunday, August 17 and vote for their best option, with two days left before the elections.

The president reaffirmed through his Telegram channel his commitment to ensure a peaceful and democratic transfer to transfer control of the country to the authorities that are elected by the citizens.

During the inauguration ceremony of the new Military High Command of the Armed Forces, he once again urged “the Bolivian people to go to the polls next Sunday, to vote for their best option.”

“As a democratically elected government, we are committed to ensuring a democratic transition to the next government, which will also be elected through popular vote,” added the Bolivian leader.
